You will need one invite per household. I recommend ordering 5-10 spares in case any get lost in the post when you send them, cover any last minuet additional guests and to have keep sakes for you and your parents. It’s also a great idea to have one to give to your photographer to make sure your invites can be cherished forever within your wedding photos.

When should I send out my save the dates?

The ideal time to send out your save the date cards is 12 - 9 months before your wedding day. This gives your guests optimum time to book the date in their diary and make any arrangements they need to for work, child care, travel etc.

When should I send out my invitations?

If you have sent out save the date cards, you can send your invitations as little as

3 – 4  months before the wedding day.

If you haven’t sent save the date cards, it is best to send your invites out to your guests 4 – 8 months before your wedding or up to 12 months before if you are having an abroad wedding. This will give your guests time to make any arrangements needed to make sure they can attend your wedding.

Anything you would like! You can be super formal, super casual or somewhere in between, which ever fits with your personalities and the style of your wedding. I give examples within your wedding questionnaire to choose from, you can mix and match bits from each or you can write out completely custom wording of your own.
